Licensing

All good things in life come with a price.
So does restAssured, but we think it is worth the investment.

General information

Our licensing is subscription based. Subscriptions can be purchased for one, two or three years. Extending a subscription is always possible. A license subscription allows a customer to deploy and use the restAssured solution, to automatically receive updates for the included software components, and to automatically receive updates for the analytics ruleset. A subscription also includes standard support, meaning 5 x 8 mail support on questions regarding restAssured installation, functionalities and use cases. Support questions can be submitted by mail or thru the restAssured Desktop GUI.

Base license

A base license is needed to use restAssured and to enable backup integrity testing. The base license covers all supported backup solutions no matter how large they are. One base license handles multiple backup solution deployments and covers them all under the base license agreement. The base license includes: -

  • Licensing of the core components
  • One worker license
  • Minor/major updates for the duration of the subscription
  • Analytics updates for the duration of the subscription
  • Standard email support 5 x 8

Worker licenses

To expand the testing capacity of restAssured additional workers can be deployed. Each deployed worker needs a separate license to be used. The amount of deployed workers define the testing capacity of the solution as more backups can be tested simultaneously. Worker licenses are added to the base license subscription. This means that they always have the same end-date as the base license. When additional worker licenses are purchased during an already running subscription period the price will be calculated based on the remaining months of the active base license subscription.

Worker licenses come in a tiered model. The higher the tier, the lower the price.

  • Tier 1: 1 to 5 workers
  • Tier 2: 6 to 10 workers
  • Tier 3: 11 to 20 workers
  • Tier 4: 21 to 50 workers
  • Tier 5: 50+ workers
